Rob Adams has been practicing law in the Capital District for more than three decades. He brings a broad range of experience, including clerking at the Appellate Division, Third Department in Albany and developing trial skills as a First Assistant District Attorney in Rensselaer County. Rob is a cum laude graduate of both Yale University and Boston University School of Law.

Rob assists small and large businesses with entity formation; acquisitions, sales and mergers; loans, including complex multi-lender loans in amounts upwards of $150 million. Rob regularly represents clients involved in the following ventures: commercial real estate transactions; radio stations; restaurants; hotels; automobile dealerships; and construction. He works with numerous existing companies to address the many legal challenges arising from the operation of a business.

His litigation practice includes commercial, real estate and personal injury cases in the trial courts and appellate courts throughout the region. In addition, Rob assists clients facing the difficult transition of separation and divorce, custody disputes or support issues.

Rob lives in Rensselaer County where his family has lived for 6 generations. He is admitted to the New York State Bar and the United States District Court for the Northern District of New York. He is a member of the American Bar Association, the New York State Bar Association and the Albany County Bar Association. He regularly appears in trial courts in throughout the greater capital region and has represented appellants and respondents in the Appellate Division Third Department and the Court of Appeals.
